South Africa - Franschoek.
South Africa again? Yes indeed! This time, PENTA visited Franschhoek. Franschhoek is approx. 60km from Cape Town and means 'French Corner' – a reference to former settlers (Huguenots). A lot of these settlers were winegrowers, which is why this region is also known for its vineyards.
Franschhoek is surrounded by mountains. This would have appealed to the settlers, presumably. It definitely did to us. Reminded us of home. But please – see for yourself.
