e-mobility in Munich – SWM (Munich's municipal utility), Siemens and MINI arranged a one-day event in September 2010 at Munich's historic Odeonsplatz square to hand over 40 electric MINIs to their new owners. The overall programme was presented by TV host Tilman Schöberl and included a demonstration by Munich's mayor Christian Ude on how easy it is to recharge the battery.
